Water & Sewer Charge Notice
“The Coves charges for water and sewer in one combined quarterly bill. The current rate is $34/4000 gallons/month which typically yields a quarterly bill of $102 for the vast majority of owners. Rates per 1000 gallon above 4000 gallon/month are slightly higher to encourage conservation. Of communities and municipalities who report their combined water and sewer rates, the Coves at Wilton Creek ranks 4th lowest in the Commonwealth of Virginia. If a would be owner is purchasing an existing home, the connection fee has already been paid, so only invoices for quarterly water and sewer usage will be issued. The average is $65.55/1000 gallons/month for the 151 jurisdictions surveyed by Skadden Arps. The Coves is the 5th lowest. Sydnor Hydro (Richmond) is currently the Coves’ maintenance contractor on the water side and Church View Septic Systems is the Coves’ Maintenance contractor on the sewer side.”
